Fragile Movements By Rakel Abellan
Opera House Boston, MA |
Walking in the Boston Ballet the first thing that stands out is the astounding architecture of the place, including really high roofs decorated with bits of brilliant gold. The dancers were so talented they made the stage look as if it was made of ice and gravity was not as strong for them as it is for the rest of us. The three parts the performance was divided in were all very different from each other, something that keeps the public away from getting bored.
Overall, the Boston Ballet keeps the public thinking about its meaning all the way through, something a good performance should always do. I would definitely recommend this to everyone, not only ballet fans, since I am not one of those and I still very much enjoyed it. Finally, If I had to change something from my experience it would only be the ridiculously high prices of the bar.
